Annual Day and Prize Distribution Function of Lilavati Lalji Dayal High School and College of Commerce was celebrated with a Drama and a musical extravaganza on the 15^th of December 2023 with great fanfare at the Sophia college auditorium from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 PM .The theme for the event was ‘UDAAN’ . This year, the institution completed its 90^th year which made the event a grand one to cherish.

Students ,Parents, Ex – Staff Members came in large numbers and the hall was filled to its capacity with all the  people applauding and cheering every performance that was conducted.

All the students participated with energy and zest, and they made an evening to remember. The Chief Guest for the evening was the Chairman of the trust Shri. Kirtikumar .K Dayal and the other trust board members who were present on this occasion.

The toppers for the Jr.college were – Mali Hemaram Kewalram , Prajapati Rishabh Dipesh, and Jain Tirth Ghevarchand and  Degree college Bhuvad Aditya Mahendra (B.Com), Dupare Madiha Abdulsalam (BAF) and the Rai Amar Ramjatan (BMS) were also felicitated on the occasion. For the second year in succession the institution had its student of the year competitio. The proud winners at the same were Waghbaneria Varun  & Thakur Sharddha  (Junior college) & Mihir Chawda from the Degree college.

The trust board also felicitated all the staff members who have completed 25 or more years with the institution. The staff felicitated on this occasion were Mr. Jayaprakash Maurya (31 years) , Mr. Chandrabhushan Singh (27 years), Mrs. Vipula Patil(27 years) and Mrs. Priyanka Panchal (25 Years).

The evening was hosted by the Convenor of Synergy – Ms. Jennifer Dcruz and Mrs., Nada Patel who with their narrations of the drama and the kept the audience spellbound with their excellent hosting.

Nryuteshwar Academy a professional group running dancing classes for the last 3 decades headed by Mr. Sashikant Mestry and his son Siddesh Mestry along with their troupe of choreographers spent nearly two months in their creative pursuit of Dramatization, Scripting and Wonderful Choreography of dances to make the evening a memorable one for all to cherish.
