SYNERGY 2025-2026 - NAVRAS
The Synergy 2025, the Annual Day Function of Lilavati Lalji Dayal College of Commerce, was held on 5TH December 2025 at Sophia Bhabha Auditorium from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. The theme for the event, "Navras", was beautifully ideated and conceptualized by Mrs. Kausar Sayyed. The Chief Compere for the program was Mrs. Nitisha Bhandari, the story narration and compering was done by Ms. Aasthaa Mehta and Ms. Ajab Tinwala.
The evening commenced with the lighting of the lamp, marking an auspicious beginning. This was followed by the Prize Distribution Ceremony for the Student of the Year award. A sincere Vote of Thanks was then delivered by Ms. Twinkle Fernandes.
Junior College and Degree college students presented a series of performances capturing the youthful energy and emotional diversity embodied in the theme. Their segments illustrated the subtitles of joy, courage, humour, and wonder, reflecting the imaginative spirit of young learners.
The cultural segment featured a series of dance performances based on Navras, the nine classical emotions. Performances were presented in the following sequence: Shaant Ras, Karuna Ras, Shringar Ras, Adbhut Ras, Bhibhatsa Ras, Raudra Ras, Veer Ras, Bhayanak Ras, and concluding with Hasya Ras. Between each performance, the comperes introduced the upcoming Ras through poetic explanations, enhancing the audience's understanding and engagement. “Navras is not just a theme it is the story of us all.
A story where every smile, every tear, every moment becomes a chapter worth remembering.”
The Annual Day, rooted deeply in the theme of Navras, offered a meaningful and memorable celebration of creativity, culture, and emotional expression, leaving a lasting impact on everyone present.
The event concluded with a vibrant finale, where all participants, teachers, Trust Board members, and staff joined together on stage, creating a joyous and memorable closing moment.
The program formally ended with the National Anthem, followed by the traditional staff photograph.
